Norse Projects Autumn/Winter 2011 collection

February 28, 2011

Only a week or so ago since I put up images of Norse Projects’ current range (find that post here), I’m back to the label again, this time with images of their next Autumn/Winter collection. The first thing that’s apparent is that the imagery itself is stunning, with the outdoor backdrop helping to make the clothing really stand out.

So as per Norse’s usual there’s stacks of excellent outerwear, from unlined, lightweight jackets through to their signature parka’s, plus plenty of knitwear, shirting; well all of the things we’ve come to except from the label. I really want the melange jumper in the last image (at least I think it’s a melange) – great colour and the high neck works well too.

The colour pallete as a whole is cracking and there are some brilliant tones in the collection – really earthy and Autumnal but not at all flat. There’s loads of grey and navy but it’s layered up with lighter blues, greens and browns but also brighter reds, oranges and yellows. In fact this collection is probably brighter on the whole than their current Spring/Summer offering.

All of this works really well, felling like another step forward for a brand who’s clothing seems to get stronger season after season. For more information on the brand, or to find your nearest stockist, have a look at their website here: Norse Projects.
