6876 Conner shirts

February 28, 2011

Here’s a couple of recent additions to 6876’s web store, coming in the form of these two rather natty shirts. The long sleeved Conner shirt represents the re-introduction of the iconic 6876 shirt to the stable, and a welcome return it is too.

Both shirts are long sleeved and feature a pair of asymmetric chest pockets – one is a standard patch and the other is a military guard entry pocket which has the simple ‘Six Eight Seven Six’ label under it. Other details include taped seam shoulders, reinforced gussets and a split yoke (which is more expensive to produce that a single and also helps improve the fit), plus single cuffs and a great collar shape.

Both shirts are manufactured in the UK by one of Europe’s premier shirt makers and are made from Italian 100% cotton 2 fold 100’s, which makes for a lightweight but hardy piece of shirting. Available in  blue and white gingham or a black and white ticking stripe, either shirt would make a great addition to your wardrobe. Because I think everyone needs at least one decent gingham shirt, my money’s on that.
