The Rig Out issue V
After the monster that was issue four (in all its A3, John Squire covered glory), something a bit more practical was the order of the day with the latest incarnation of The Rig Out. And issue five’s arrival heralds both a different format and a new graphic look to the magazine.
Titled ‘Five years too late Tokyo special’, the latest issue is based around the team’s recent trip to Japan, taking in everything the country has on offer and returning to blighty with plenty of fantastic images and some tongue-in-cheek stories.
As usual there’s a big mix of great clothing on show, with labels like CP Company, Woolrich Woolen Mills, Edwin Overworks, One Nine Zero Six, LVC, Beams Plus, 6876, Cash Ca, Ben Sherman, Pointer, Veja, Rohan, Rapha, Carhartt Heritage and Oak Street Bootmakers.
A fresh look has been given to proceedings courtesy of Art Director Andy Bird and photography is once aging by Antony Crook and Ewen Spencer. Also new is the fact they’ve now got a shiny website with which you can view old issues as well as ordering your copy direct.
So for all of that, get yourself to the site ere: The Rig Out.
Good to see they’ve got a website now. Nice job!
Great publication, done the right way by people who live for it. That’s what you want isn’t it. Not a bunch of rich kids doing it because they can.
Class. As usual.
Putting my order in today. This and Proper are the best mags out there.
