Nigel Cabourn Authentic Autumn/Winter 2012 collection

August 16, 2012

With the posts I’ve done on Cabourn’s limited edition collection based around Captain Scott, it’s easy to forget that there’s a larger collection of standard product available from his Authentic range this Winter, which is starting to find its way to stockists around the country.

By now you know what to expect from a Nigel Cabourn Winter collection – plenty of beautiful hand-woven Harris Tweed, Ventile, thick wools and heavyweight oiled cotton features throughout a range that’s inspired by the cold months spent in the North East of England.

The staples of The label’s collection are ever present – the Everest parka comes in a new washed out yellow colourway and along with the single colour Mallory jackets also features a multi-panel version with leather elbow patches. The Tweed Mallory vest is also back as is the Aircraft jacket in heavy oiled cotton, all in suitably Autumnal colours.

Finishing things off as ever, is a range of British-made Shetland wool knitwear and accessories, this includes Fair Isle jumpers and vests, plus scarves and a selection of hats (in plain wool or snowflake pattern), all made from the highest quality wools and designed to withstand the foulest Winter weather.

All of the above is available from Newcastle’s End Clothing now, so if you fancy a piece of it, get yourself here: Authentic Autumn/Winter 2012. For more information on the brand itself, go to the website here: Nigel Cabourn.
