Hawskmill Denim Co.

May 28, 2015

Hawksmill Denim Co.are the latest label to join the ever growing British denim scene. The brand is the endeavour of Fraser Trewick, a man with two decades of experience who recently gave up an international sales role at Nudie Jeans to finally launch this new denim label.

The influence for the product comes (as you would somewhat expect) from vintage workwear. But whereas many brands focus on an Americanised version of this, Hawksmill are set on a more European aesthetic for its product range. Although the brand is based in Brighton, Europe also sees itself used for production, with the jeans constructed from Cone Mills’ White Oak selvedge and made with vintage Union Special machines.

There are five individual cuts that make up the launch range – from a regular through to slim, all coming in a raw, unwashed state and all based on the classic five-pocket design. And in addition to the jeans, there’s also going to be a small range of apparel, including jackets, shirts and jerseywear. Launching properly later this year, for more information on the label and to find a stockist as and when the products are available, keep an eye on the website here: Hawksmill Denim Co.
