Universal Works – Workshop Denim

April 8, 2014

Denim. Easy to do. Hard to do well, as witnessed be the sea of shitty jeans that’s out there. Universal Works have recently put their money where their mouth is and launched their own range of ‘Workshop Denim’. As ever, they’re doing things their own way too – having sourced vintage loom-made 13oz denim from Portugal and gone about making their jeans by hand in the centre of England.

The jeans come in two fits (regular and slim) and the selvedge denim is left unwashed. They’re also deliberately unbranded on the outside with only an internal ghost patch telling you what you’ve got. The jeans are exclusively available from either Oi Polloi and Peggs & Son, so if you fancy a pair what are you waiting for?
