Marcus De Shoes

March 10, 2014

Marcus De is the brainchild of Miguel de Almeida, who through being influenced by his grandfather’s love of shoes was urged to follow his own passion for footwear and start up his own label. The brand takes its name from Miguel’s grandfather and provides an uncompromising blend of classic English craftsmanship with a contemporary slant.

As you would expect from a company that’s producing footwear in England, there’s a focus on quality with the shoes being built to last a lifetime. Attention to detail is meticulous and each pair is bench-made by hand, by artisans in Northampton in very limited numbers. There’s a wide selection of models from classic Longwing brogues (with crepe, Dainite or leather soles), through to suede monks and Oxfords and chukka boots in leather or suede.

The full range is available to purchase through the label’s online shop, so if you want more information, or fancy gettingyourself a pair, go to the website here: Marcus De.

Marcus De boots worn four times then split. Obviously quality ‘out of focus’! Disappointed.
