Redwing Shoes new London shop

October 31, 2013

Last week, Red Wing Shoes opened the doors to their new UK shop, located at 17 Newburgh Street, in London’s Soho (where Bond used to be). This small street is already home to the likes of Levi’s and Filson, and this new shop will no doubt be another welcome addition to the area.

The space pays tribute to the brand’s rich heritage with footwear displayed on steel cabinets and 200 year old construction beams, all of which echo the brand’s roots in the manufacture of industrial work boots. Also occupying the space are old advertisements and artifacts from the earlier days as well as some worn in boots – documenting how a pair of Red Wings will develop its own patina over time.

The shop offers a wide selection of the Red Wing Heritage collection, all of which are made in the USA. In addition the shop also provides a wide selection of care-products to preserve the quality of your boots as well as a repair service for resoling them when the time comes. For more information on the brand, go to the website here: Redwing Shoes.
