Albam’s new denim

October 17, 2013

I’ve been a fan of Albam’s denim since the very first versions the lads did. At last count I had five pairs, all in differing stages and one pair in particular (that I’ve featured on here a few times) that have probably been worn twice a week for the last five years. Now comes a new evolution in their denim, with the investment in a chainstitching machine, meaning you now get traditional hems too.

It’s a simple enough thing but at the same time, one that makes a world of difference. It also means that if you get the legs taken up, they can now do that and keep the chainstitching too. All other elements of the jeans stay the same – Japanese 13oz right woven raw selvedge denim, five pockets and available in either a regular or slim leg.

They also continue to be made in the UK, with Albam having found a new factory to produce them to the high standard these jeans continue to have. The whole thing shows the label’s continued commitment to refining and improving their product. For more information on their denim and to buy online, go to the website here: Albam.
