E.P.J. Seymour accessories

May 30, 2013

Recently brought to my attention are E.P.J. Seymour limited, an accessories label, based in the whitechapel area of East London. A totally British affair, every aspect of the materials, manufacturing and packaging of their products are sourced through English factories and suppliers.

The factory is based in Dukinfield, on the outskirts of Manchester, having been established in 1923. Since then it’s been dedicated to producing the finest quality leather goods for prestigious British labels, which in turn has allowed it to endure as one of the few remaining capacity leather goods manufacturers in the United Kingdom.

All of E.P.J. Seymour’s products are hand made by highly skilled staff and each item in the collection is constructed from the finest Italian calf leather, trimmed in eight wale corduroy (otherwise known as Manchester cloth, a fabric renowned for its Englishness and durability) to add texture, tactility, and a hint of colour.

For more information on the label, to find a stockist, or to buy via their online shop, go to the website here: E.P.J. Seymour.
