Aspesi APECS jacket

February 28, 2013

Love it or loath it, Camouflage isn’t going away anytime soon, although it is starting to change with more labels moving away from traditional DPM’s to more contemporary and interesting versions.

Italy’s Aspesi are one such label that have released their own take with a digi-camo print featuring on the new APECS jacket. Constructed from a nylon rip-stop printed taffetà that also features a unique waterproof and breathable polyurethane lamination it’s fully resistant to the elements whilst remaining lightweight and comfortable.

Features include fully taped seams throughout (in a highly contrasting pink), double zip fastening front with high collar (with hidden hood inside), and flap closing lined pockets. In addition to this there’s also tab extensions at bottom of the sleeves and drawcords at the waist and hem for an adjustable fit.

It’s available now from Aspesi’s online shop, so if you fancy one, go to their website here: APECS jacket.

Digital Camo I’m not so sure about but I really like the look of the jacket in general.

    Don’t like the taped seams.

I’m on the fence and haven’t decided if I like the digi camo or not. I think the taping works well & pink’s quite a brave choice in a Men’s jacket. I’d like to see the jacket in a solid colour tbh.
