Handsom Autumn/Winter 2013 collection (Southern hemisphere)

February 14, 2013

Melbourne based Handsom deliver their latest Southern hemisphere Autumn/Winter collection. This season sees the label returning to a more refined range of everyday wardrobe essentials, whilst maintaining the youthful look they’ve become known for.

The collection utilises a variety of textures, with contrast knit cardigans and mohair cable knits, plus woolen bombers in tweed and Prince of Wales checks. Checked Japanese wool, paisley, flecked Chambrays, and patchwork flannels find themselves transformed into shirts and there’s a smattering of speckled jersey pieces.

The palette is particularly Autumnal with lots of green and brown which is juxtaposed with light blues and reds. Detailing is fantastic throughout and there’s plenty of great pieces in here, with knitwear and outerwear being very strong, but to be honest the whole thing is full of garments that would fit effortlessly into any wardrobe.

Rob, this is great. Do you know where the clothes are made? I don’t have a lot of experience with Australian labels outside of Rittenhouse, so this is quite a nice find– thanks!

I like most of this but have to draw the line at the elasticated cuff trousers.

Same here, awful, awful things. The rest of it’s boss though, dressing like a pukka version of your dad steez.
