Drake’s of London X Fred Perry – Blank Canvas‏

November 22, 2012

Here’s a look at the latest collaboration from Fred Perry, who this time have teamed up with purveyors of refined handcrafted accessories, Drake’s of London for an Autumn/Winter 2012 collection entitled blank canvas.

This collective effort sees these classic British brands join forces to create a measured and sophisticated collection of classic Fred Perry product, complemented by the use of Drake’s signature archive prints. This has been done in a selection of ways – some shirts feature all over print, whilst others take a more subtle approach and have the print elements confined to collars and pockets.

Polo shirts take a similar tack but also find print on their plackets (with a small slither always visible) and half moon linings. The single piece of outerwear in the collection comes in the form of a bomber jacket which receives a full printed lining. Finishing the range off is a single scarf, made from silk with an all over Paisley print and two pairs of shoes, each with leather broguing and a printed vamp and tongue.

The full collection is available in all Fred Perry Laurel Wreath shops and online, so if you’d like to buy online, or just want to know more about the collection, go to the website here: Fred Perry Blank Canvas‏.
