Lavenham x Hackett London

November 1, 2012

For this Autumn Winter season, Hackett has teamed up with well respected British outerwear manufacturer, Lavenham to create a range of three beautiful quilted coats, all of which are not only designed but also produced in England.

Taking their inspiration from the Lavenham archive in Suffolk, Hackett’s design team set to work creating three very individual and unique jackets, all of which maintain the quilted design for which Lavenham are known.

The first is the most formal of the three and has been adapted to look more like a sports jacket than a piece of outerwear.  The moss green exterior is made from 100% wool with features including three-button fastening, front lower patch pockets, notched lapels and a quilted lining.

The second piece adopts a more relaxed style. This utilises Lavenham’s more traditional polyester outer material and comes in a navy blue with a khaki corduroy trim. Features include a pair of front slash pockets, four button placket with fold down collar and a full hood for added wet weather protection.

And finally, the third takes its inspiration from a traditional paddock jacket, with a high collar, patch pockets and classic press-stud fastenings. All will be available in selected Hackett stores across Europe from this month, for more information on the brands go here: Hackett and here: Lavenham.
