Fred Perry British Workwear collection

October 31, 2012

Here’s a look at the latest selection of products from Fred Perry’s British Workwear collection. This latest range references the styles and fabrics of classic British factory and workshop wear of the 1930’s and 1940’s.

The collection sees rich wool flannel jackets sit alongside heavy-weight down coats, which themselves are layered over textured knits and tri-colour marl jumpers. Laurel Wreath branded round leather patches adorn the breasts of many of the apparel pieces, whilst accessories feature embossed branding or the Laurel in rectangular patches.

Also present in this collection of refined but hard-wearing pieces are traditional tartan and Oxford shirting, the brand’s well loved and iconic tipped and plain pique jersey polo shirts, a selection of fine gauge merino knits, trousers, footwear and a smattering of smaller leather accessories and items like hats, scarves and gloves.

The range is available now, so for more information, to find your nearest stockist, or to buy any of the above from their online shop, go here: Fred Perry British Workwear collection.

It looks a solid enough collection and very nice it is too. It won’t set the world alight but, and this is me, I just can’t live with the branding.
