Swims Autumn/Winter 2012 bag collection

September 10, 2012

Following on from my post on Norwegian label SWIMS a couple of weeks ago (find that here), the guys have sent over some images of their new luggage range. Showing that there’s more to them than footwear this range of bags builds on their desire to produce fully weather-proof items.

With the main body of the bags being constructed from a high density nylon they’re completely impervious to the weather, plus are resistant to dirt and thanks to nylon’s hard wearing nature, will stand up to the rigours of travel. Four colours are available, two bright and vibrant and another pair of more subdued tones, all featuring SWIMS’ trademark orange accents.

To add a more natural element to the luggage, all the straps, clips and zip-pulls are made from raw leather which will darken and age naturally, adding further contrast to the man-made materials present. Rubber feet run the width of the bag’s base to protect it from being dragged around and rubber detailing can be seen between the straps and main body of the bag.

Finally, all zips used are waterproof and also taped internally. The luggage range is available in two different sizes – a perfect weekend bag, or smaller carry on bag, ideal for when you only want to take hand luggage. For more information on the brand and to find your nearest stockist, go to the website here: SWIMS.
