Bridge & Burn Autumn/Winter 2012 collection

August 22, 2012

Here’s a preview of the latest Autumn/Winter 2012 collection from a brand that’s new to me, Bridge & Burn. The Portland based company sent over these images of their latest range last week, so I thought I’d share them on here.

Staying true to their Pacific Northwest roots, this Winter collection features plenty of garments perfect for the cooler months. Outerwear comes in light waxed cottons and heavier cotton drills and wools, with details including check linings, fur lined collars and oversized buttons.

One of the label’s favorite new pieces is their ‘Smith’ jacket – a Northwest inspired varsity jacket featuring a wool body with contrasting waxed cotton sleeves, black elasticated hems and a press-stud fastening covered placket. It’s a lovely piece of outerwear and marks itself out as totally different to everything else out there.

Knitwear is in short supply in these images but what we do get is that great shawl neck striped number, hopefully there’s more where this came from when the full collection is released soon. Finishing things off is a large selection of shirts encompasses solid coloured cotton Oxfords and chambrays, plus a selection of checks either large or small.

Stupidly low rise on the trousers – makes the model look as if he has an elongated body like a primate. Then again, maybe he has.
