Cherchbi Autumn/Winter 2012 print collection

July 26, 2012

Cherchbi, purveyors of beautiful luggage have expanded their already solid collection for the impending Autumn/Winter season with a collaboration between themselves and Royal College of Art graduate Tamasyn Gambel (who has previously designed print for labels including Louis Vuitton and Yves Saint Laurent).

For this new range, Gambel has taken nautical flags as her inspiration and devised a series of prints consisting of bold colours and graphic structures that are then screen printed by hand onto the label’s stunning Herdwyck No.10 tweed. This results in a great juxtaposition between the contemporary and traditional, with the prints complimenting and enriching the base material.

There are two patterns available – ‘broken square’ and ‘two-colour geometric’ and these find themselves on two of Cherchbi’s key pieces – the squires holdall and the sail rucksack. Both continue to feature 3mm British saddle leather for all straps and trims, plus British made brass hardware and Swiss riri zips. Finally the company logo and ‘British made’ are proudly blind embossed onto a leather patch, with each being hand-stamped with a unique serial number.

This range is being exclusively stocked by Dover Street Market in London. For more information on the brand, or to buy online visit the website here: Cherchbi.
