Diadora Cross 70

June 14, 2012

Along with the re-issuing of classic trainers from its back catalogue, Italian sportswear brand Diadora have also been putting work into releasing new styles, albeit ones that are distinctly old school in styling. So new to their footwear range are these, the ‘Cross 70’.

The ‘Cross 70’ is a retro low-top trainer, with an upper constructed from a mix of premium suede and breathable nylon – I was surprised when I saw it that it’s a new model due to the distinctly vintage looks. The ghillie lacing and simple rain grey/navy or navy/white colourways only add to this, as does the simple branding, all inspired by the label’s wealth of heritage.

Other details include a premium leather sock liner, contrasting leather branding on the sides, a low-profiled two-layered sole and a thin tongue. They’re available now from JD Sports for just over fifty quid. So for more information, or to get yourself a pair, go to the website here: Diadora Cross 70.
