Homecore Autumn/Winter 2012 collection
In typical fast-paced fashion, no sooner have I featured this labels Spring/Summer collection (find that here) than their Autumn/Winter 2012 range breaks cover. The Parisian brand continue where the last lookbook left off, both in terms of styling but also the garments themselves.
Once again on display is a great range of casual wardrobe staples. The outerwear selection is again top notch, with lots of Melton wool transformed into various jacket styles and a variety of earthy tones. Many pieces continue to follow the soft tailored look that was apparent in the previous collection but that’s tempered with a couple of more casual, quilted pieces too.
There’s a small amount of knitwear on show – thick cardigans in mid greys and crew neck jumpers in brighter colours, with the best of the lot being the two-tone piece just above, simple yet effective, that’s on my Winter knitwear list. Once again chinos feature heavily with the brighter versions also bolstered by the addition of more somber Autumnal colours.
Other pieces include a couple of different denim styles, a selection of shirts and basic jersey wear, plus a range of accessories (hats, scarves that kind of thing) and a selection of shoes all of which add up to yet another lovely collection of clothes.Hopefully we’ll be seeing yet more of this in the UK next season.
