Folk Spring/Summer 2012 rainmac

February 3, 2012

Here’s a look at a nice piece of outerwear from everyone’s favourite Menswear label, Folk. This lightweight rainmac is a new release for the Spring/Summer 2012 season and a safe bet for when the weather starts top get milder and wetter.

Folk’s interpretation of the classic single breasted rainmac has been kept a simple affair with no superfluous detailing on its exterior. It’s constructed from a lightweight 100% cotton and sprayed with a water repellent coating, meaning it’ll take care of random Spring showers without a problem, all whist keeping you looking sharp.

Features include raglan sleeves for increased comfort, large collar that can be worn either up or down, an Airtex vent on back, four button placket and button fastening front slash pockets. In addition to all that there’s also a nifty inside pocket which is detachable and can be used as a pouch for phones, iPods and that kind of thing.

Available in two colourways – either the Donkey brown shown above or good old navy blue, the jacket is in the shops now. For more information on the brand, to find your nearest stockist, or to buy online go to the website here: Folk.

I met the manager of Folk, Drays Walk a couple of Friday evenings ago. He was DJ’ing at friend’s birthday party in The Black Country no less! Hello Leon, Carry on! 😉
