The old 6876
I dug this out of the wardrobe the other day. It doesn’t come out very often, not because I don’t like it but because it’s so ridiculously warm that it needs to be pretty cold before I can start wearing it. Bought years ago when Kenneth was still wholesaling the brand and you could buy it in shops, it’s been a trusty bit of kit for Winter days when I haven’t wanted to wear a long coat.
So now it’s cold outside the jacket’s back in the rotation once again, still in great condition and with very little wear (once the creases drop out from it being folded up it’ll look like new). The black ripstop shell outer is both water and wind proof and combined with an interior fully lined in micro fleece make the jacket very, very warm even thought the jacket is a short one.
A pair of lower from pockets, both of which are zip fastening and covered via a flap, plus a single vertical chest pocket on the left hand side provide places to stick your hands and your stuff, the collar comes up high to protect your neck and the elasticated cuffs and hem (which is adjustable thanks to the plastic toggles) keep everything wind tight and snug.
