Pointer Calum and Conor boots

November 30, 2011

Another post on yet more boots for the Winter. And for this we once again turn to UK based makers of all things casual and cracking, Pointer, for a look at a couple of different styles they have out for this Autumn/Winter 2011 season.

The Calum and Conor boots are recent(ish) editions to Pointer’s range and I’ve featured both on here in the past. These latest versions are built with the cold in mind with both featuring fur lining for extra comfort and cosiness and waxed fabrics for extra water resistance.

The lower cut of the two is the Conor, a moccasin toed boot which comes in a chocolate brown waxed suede with white contrast stitching around the toe, dark brown laces, natural leather welt and white Vibram Moreflex sole. The Calum shares many of its shorter brothers features but comes in a waxed copper coloured premium tumbled leather with brown, tan and white hiking boot style woven laces.

Both are hand made in Portugal and are available now from online retailer Glass Boutique here: Calum and here: Conor.

The chocolate brown “Conor” style is a cool looking mix of chukka boot and boat shoe that I would definitely like to have to keep my feet warm on a cold winter day. Not only do they look super comfy, but they also look like they would go well with a variety of looks!
