Outlier – ‘In A Technical Nature’ Autumn 2011 collection
Here’s a look at Outliers new Autumn 2011 collection images. Going under the title ‘In A Technical Nature’ the range is a tour de force of what Outlier are so committed to doing – namely their desire to to create the future of clothing.
Their method of moving Men’s clothing forward is one that they plan on achieving through the fusion of advanced fabrication, with increased performance (through improved cuts) but all whilst keeping the core principal of making clothing that looks great – it’s all well and good making clothing that functions perfectly but if no-one wants to wear it you’ve failed in your task, luckily Outlier having nothing to fear in this respect.
What they do with fabrics is superb – cottons twist around nylons and are engineered so tightly they become water barriers, wools bond to fleeces, artificial down is layered between wool knits and nanotech dosed nylons are modeled after lotus leaves. It’s all cutting edge stuff and it’s all in the name of making better preforming, fitting and looking clothing, pretty cool, no?
There’s some great clothing on show here, from larger outerwear pieces through to simple tops, accessories and well cut trousers, all of which is made for life on the move and looking good no matter how active you happen to be.
