Fallow Denim Autumn/Winter 2011 lookbook

October 20, 2011

Following on form the short interview with the brand I featured back in April (find that here), Bronagh from Fallow kindly sent me some images of their latest lookbook. Never ones to do things by halves, this is a very different affair to what many other denim brands would put out to highlight their products, but then, that’s why I like them.

Shot in Bamburgh, Northumberland by Garrod Kirkwood, it follows in the footsteps of the last collection lookbook but ramps the moodyness up even more whilst showing off the brand’s line of denim. Their jeans once again come in a variety of styles, from slim cuts through to something a bit more forgiving, plus Silk Waxed versions too, there’s a good array of styles to choose from with each available in a slightly different weight of denim from the next.

Their accessories line continues with some new belt styles, this time in single piece pebbled leather in either black of brown, as opposed to last seasons braided versions (find the post I did on those here), and those in favour of a bit of peaceful protesting will no doubt be happy to know that Fallow’s made-to-order denim masks are still available.

And then there’s what I think is the stand out piece of the collection – the cape made from Japanese Chambray and Silk Waxed for total water resistance. Also featuring Deerskin trim and a removable waxed selvedge denim hood, it’s not going to be for everyone but it’s a lovely item nonetheless and could be damn good for cyclists.
