Rogue Territory 2011 denim

October 17, 2011

I did a brief overview of Los Angeles based denim brand Rogue Territory back in February of last year (find that here). Set up by Karl Thoennesson, the company’s products represent modern interpretations of garments that were produced during the industrial age of the 20th century.

With the core principal of  building upon these vintage designs, but at the same time updating them with more modern cuts the brand have shown themselves to makers of excellent denim products. Although their stunning double denim work pants aren’t available at the moment, there’s still their ‘Stanton’s’ which come in a few different colours, including a double dyed version.

In addition to the denim pieces the label also makes a pair of cotton twill trousers in collaboration with Need Supply Co. (more on them soon) called the Ar-G and then there’s the RK ISC, the collaboration with Ryan Plett of [you_have_broken_the_internet] in a black 12.5oz Cone Mills selvedge canvas – great looking trousers which unfortunately look to have all gone already, again a recurring theme with the brand, so good and highly regarded are its products.

So if you fancy a pair of the jeans that are available to buy via their online shop, or for more info on the brand, go to the website here: Rogue Territory

These teaser style shots do my head in. I appreciate we are seeing them ‘in action’ so to speak but a proper meat a potatoes view of them.

From what I see though, I like the detail on the one pair with the white stripes on the outer hem – similar to the folk chinos from a while back and a pair of dickies twill trousers that I have.

If you go to their website and you can see flat views of them to get a better idea of details and whatnot. They are great jeans from what I’ve seen and heard. I’m going to get myself a pair soon.
