Utile canvas bags

August 23, 2011

After a small but perfectly formed start (find the first post I did on the brand here), British Menswear brand Utile have been extending into accessories to compliment their already well received garments. So new to the collection is this range of bags.

These bags come in collaboration with Shackleton (hence the black screen printed logo that features on each). There are two types of canvas bag in the range – a decent sized tote and a capacious duffel bag. Both come in three colourways – yellow/navy, mint green/navy and red/navy and the two-tone of the bags works perfectly, with the navy grounding the brighter colours and stopping them being garish, whilst also making them more interesting than a single, solid colour.

Both feature high quality leather straps – the tote with its carry handles and the duffel with its single canvas and leather strap and smaller handle, with all fitting made from high quality, aged brass. The duffel bag is fastened with contrast climbing rope and both types of bag feature an internal pocket and benefit from being fully lined in a Hickory stripe cotton. All are made in London, priced well and are a great addition to Utile’s range.

For more information on the brand, or to buy any of these bags online, go to their website here: Utile.

They’re all sold out on the Utile site, so you have to purchase them somewhere else.
