Pointer Duck boot

After a good look at the models Pointer are doing for next year at Jacket Required, lets get back to a shoe that you can actually buy now. And what with the weather not exactly playing ball at the moment, this recent addition to the range, the Pluckrose Duck boot might be just the ticket for those wet windy days.

Pointer have really moved things forward with this new Autumn/Winter collection of shoes and the sits right up there at the top of their latest models. Now coming ready for the cold wet months in a new premium leather and suede upper, the Duck boot inspired shoe features a light weight yet sturdy EVA sole unit (much like Vibram’s Morflex but Pointer’s own) that sits below a chunky natural leather welt.

The tongue is faux fur lined for extra warmth and the boots are done up with multi-coloured hiking boot style laces. Attention to stitching and building detail is obvious throughout and every pair is made by hand in Portugal. Everything adds up to a good looking and brilliantly functional piece of Winter footwear that looks like it’ll take plenty of abuse without any worry.
