Windmill Club Spring/Summer 2011 collection
Back in October I featured a brand by the name of The Windmill Club (find that here). New York based and makers of some fine product to wear around your neck, they’re a label well worth a look if you’re in need of a new tie.
The thing that differentiates The Windmill Club from the plethora of other brands making and selling ties is that theirs are all produced from 100% deadstock silk. So you get small quantities of ties (like only a handful of each) that you won’t find elsewhere, which in turn makes them more interesting than your run of the mill stuff.
There’s seven tie variations available at the moment with three striped and four patterned versions that include crowns, ice lollies, cars and sailboats, with the highest quantity of a single style being only seventeen pieces – like I said, only a handful of each are ever made due to the nature of finding deadstock silk to use.
Being quick off the mark always helps with this brand as things usually sell within a small amount of time. So if you’re in the market for a new tie you can view the full collection and buy from their online shop here: The Windmill Club.
