Pointer Seeker IV
Pointer are back with another great design and what better colour to showcase it in than the freshest of them all – white. With a simple canvas upper, bright white sole and laces, the Seeker IV is just the ticket for the Summer months.
The low profile silhouette is just what you want from a trainer (well it’s what I want anyway) and even though they’re all white there’s enough tonal contrast between the upper and the sole to make sure they’re not too stark and plain. The reinforced toe box adds some extra detail, as do the separate lace stays, all of which is double stitched onto the upper.
The trainers are fully lined (again in white) and the ankle collar is padded for extra comfort. The only concession to the white is the pointer branding, which is in a golden yellow and is woven into a tab on the side. Then to finish off, the rubber sole features a reinforced mudguard with the pointer branding on the heel.
A decent pair of Summer shoes at a decent price (coming in around the £40 mark) and as with the Duffer examples I featured a while back (find that post here) they make a nice alternative to Authentics and the like.
