Tommy Ton at London Fashion Week

March 8, 2011

I wouldn’t normally post this kind of street style photography on the blog but thought I’d make an exception with these recent Tommy Ton images for GQ magazine from London’s fashion week.

I do look at all of the photography that comes from the shows, mainly because I find it interesting to see what people are wearing, if anyone’s doing anything creative and generally to see what’s going on with people on the street, although I realise this is still a tiny demographic compared to your average bloke.

There’s tons of great clothing on show here and it’s definitely the brighter colours that I’m drawn to – the coat in the first image, those yellow Norse Projects gloves, the stunning blue leather longwings, all of which are lovely items. I was very tempted with the Grenson Fred V boots a while back and seeing them here, I think I should have taken the plunge. Oh and if anyone knows where the jumper with the checked half moon is from drop me a line, ta.

If you want to have a look at the full collection of images then you’ll be needing to go here: Tommy Ton for GQ magazine.

that half moon jumper looks superb, as does the third jacket (slightly baseball, slightly country….odd mix that works well).

The navy longwings are Florsheim x Duckie Brown for anyone wondering. Great color.
