Another story of Mr. De Nîmes

November 30, 2010

The guys at Tenue de Nîmes have teamed up with Umbrella brand London Undercover to produce a limited edition umbrella made from denim (well what else would the guys have it made from?). It’s fittingly made in France, as this is the home of both denim and the waterproof umbrella.

It’s not the actual umbrella I’m focusing on here though, it’s the animation that goes along with the project. It’s made by Japanese illustrator Hiyoko Imai and tells the story of how the collaboration came about. Imai also produced the illustration of the cotton flower that features on the inside of the umbrella.

If you fancy a look at the umbrella’s of if you’d like to purchase one they’re available now, from either Tenue de Nîmes or London Undercover.
