Albam Ventile rain mac

October 11, 2010

Over the last few weeks, Albam have started taking delivery of some of their Autumn/Winter 2010 ranges and one of the things I’ve been most excited to see is this Ventile rain Mac.

Made in a slim raglan style and produced from from 100% Cotton Ventile, it’s ‘technical’ whilst still being smart and formal – so in many ways it gives you the best of both worlds and is sure to keep you dry as the weather becomes progressively wetter as Winter approaches.

Made in the UK and featuring fully taped seams for added water proofing, the rain mac is sure to keep you and whatever you’re wearing underneath dry. The jacket has been cut to look slim but still allow you to wear of a suit or heavy knit underneath.

The main RiRi zip is hidden under a fly front storm flap for added protection, the top of which buttons with a single press-stud (all of the others are hidden under the placket). The collar has been reinforced for added protection and there’s also a removable storm flap (again by way of press-stud) that can be stored inside the jacket when it’s not in use. Press-studs are also used to fasten and adjust the cuffs and are used yet again on the storm flaps that adorn the jackets two front pockets.

It’s available now from Albam’s retail stores or online, so for more information or to make a purchase go here: Albam rain mac.
