What I want – 6876 Rusland ventile jacket

October 6, 2010

Oh look another coat, I wouldn’t have expected that on here. Yes I know, but it is nearly winter and it has been raining loads in the UK recently too…

So with all of this wet weather we’ve been having in mind, a decent waterproof is in order, and when it comes to staying dry you can’t go wrong with a good bit of Ventile. Fortunate that the boys from 6876 have collaborated with Welsh brand ArcEnd and brought out this limited edition piece as part of their collection for Autumn/Winter 2010 then isn’t it?

Produced in the UK from 200grm Ventile and available in this rather striking Bordeaux colourway, the Rusland is certainly a good looking piece of outerwear.

The jacket features a fixed hood and is fully unlined to keep it simple and lightweight. There’s a double chest pocket and colour coded YKK reverse coil zips are used to fasten both this and the main body. Plus there’s also the choice of either custom made leather, or hand crafted natural birch-bark cord pullers (the bark versions are a great touch) and finally the press-stud fastening adjustable cuffs finish off the details nicely.

If you fancy purchasing it, it’s now available here: 6876 Rusland jacket.

(PS – please delete this post if we’re spamming, but thought people should know as this jacket was thought to be long-sold out…)
