As Lineage of Influence enters its fifth year of existence I thought it was probably about time I updated the ‘about’ section of the site to reflect where the blog and myself are now at.

I’m still a thirtysomething Northern monkey, live in London, think way too much about clothes and have a full-time job in advertising, but I’m also now a husband and a father too. I continue to write the blog purely as a hobby (which is why it can be a bit sporadic at times because life and work come first), but try to update it as often as possible, usually once a day if time allows.

The premise of the site is pretty simple, I only ever feature things I like, or find interesting and the blog is completely independent – I have no need or interest in making money from blogging and as such don’t allow any advertising on the site, nor do I partake in affiliate schemes or allow sponsored posts. This way the blog is beholden to nobody except me and my tastes and I don’t have to feature things I don’t like.

Hopefully you like what you see on the site and will continue to come back to it in the future. For those who have read it since the beginning, a huge thank you for your continued support.
