S.E.H Kelly trench coat

January 6, 2014

Sticking with the outerwear theme on the blog is yet another beautiful piece from London’s S.E.H Kelly. This latest endeavour is their take on that most classic piece of British outerwear, the trench coat.

Constructed from navy blue cotton twill, the coat sticks to the typical full length but simplifies the design somewhat by removing the belt loops, but keeping the belt and running it through channels underneath the flaps for the huge pockets instead. The left shoulder gun flap is also neatly tied into the front fastening to tidy things up whist the sleeves are of a single-piece construction with adjustable cuff straps.

The collar is a whopping affair with a full stand and is cut so that it can easily be worn up or down, plus when needed it also features a storm flap that can be folded back if it’s not in use. Real horn buttons from the Midlands are used throughout. For more information on the label and its products, plus to buy online, go to their website here: S.E.H Kelly.
