Alan Paine Autumn/Winter 2013 collection
For Autumn Winter 2013, Alan Paine have once again gone into their archive for inspiration. With an extensive collection which stretches over a century, vintage colour ways, patterns and stitches have been brought into modern, contemporary context.

The range spans an amazing 75 colours, all of which are spun from the same supplier the label has worked with for over 60 years. Z. Hinchliffe and Sons in England have over two and a half centuries of spinning expertise, which in turn helps to bring together this extensive and bespoke colour range.
And the knitwear that contains all of these colours is once again excellent, consistsing of a mix of plain and cable knits in either Lambs and Geelong wool, every piece of which is fully fashioned, hand linked and hand finished. Other pieces of note are the fine knitted polo shirts and soft-tailored, unstructured blazers.
