Henri Lloyd Wembury jacket
Another nice piece of outerwear courtesy of British brand Henri Lloyd. This, their Wembury jacket is a lightweight piece for the Summer months, and just the ticket for when the sunshine turns to showers (like recently).
Constructed from cotton Ventile, it’s a short bodied jacket, fully unlined to keep weight to a minimum, and benefits from having fully taped internal seams to further bolster its waterproofing. All of which makes it perfect for the good old (very changeable) British Summertime.
Ventile is densely woven from 100% cotton and uses the world’s finest long staple fibre and isn’t coated or laminated in any way – the dense weave swells when wet which stops water penetrating through, provide excellent weatherproofing whilst keeping the garment breathable.
Features include a pair of flap closure front pockets, a zip-through fixed hood (which is also peaked) with drawstring adjustment and elasticated hem and cuffs. It’s also available in three colours – Beetroot, Sandstone and Navy.

that’s a cracker, the fabric used seems like such a good idea and use of something not too technical
Can’t beat a good bit of old Henri. Is it me or has this got a touch of the 6876 about it?
