Chess London
Chess London is a relatively new Menswear brand having been founded back in 2010. It was started with the simple intent of offering today’s man a wardrobe that allows him well designed, high quality and modern apparel which is built on the time honoured British tradition of fine tailoring.
Since starting up some 18 months ago, the label have been working hard on producing a launch collection scheduled for release around the end of March this year. This initial range will encompass a variety of staple menswear items from classic outerwear pieces through to accessories and everything that sits in-between. The brand consider the collection to be “for a flexible, understated wardrobe for the contemporary man”.
Each piece of clothing is constructed from globally sourced high quality materials, which are then finished by tailors using traditional methods – the focus is very much on classic British tailoring, and in addition to this many of the fabrics used by the label are woven on these shores.
With a subtle colour palette, thoughtful detailing and touches of individuality throughout, the collection looks grown up and considered. I think the knitwear looks good from the teaser images that have been released so far and I’m interested in seeing more of this in the future. It certainly looks like the label will be making a strong start this year.
The brand are using Facebook and Twitter to show preview images and give out information as the release date nears, so if you’d like more information go here: Chess London.
