A.P.C Spring/Summer 2012 collection

January 3, 2012

End Clothing have just received their first delivery of A.P.C’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection. I’ve been taking more interest in what this label have been doing recently (I bought two of their  jumpers and a shirt last year) and think they’ve really stepped up over the last few seasons. As these images show it doesn’t disappoint, with yet another timeless collection of Menswear.

This season sees the focus shift to lightweight outerwear, with their take on a classic military parka being the collection’s stand out piece. Made from a heavy-duty woodland camouflage cotton twill, the parka features a fixed hood, pair of front hand warmer slash pockets, two large lower patch pockets, and is fastened via lovely tonal buttons.

The vintage parka is another cracking piece. This time in a solid beige, the fully lined jacket features concealed zip and button closure, with a single button visible just below the collar. It also has two large buttoned external flap pockets and a single internal pocket, horn buttons, an adjustable drawstring waist for a slimmer look and an adjustable hood – a military classic with a twist.

In addition to the outerwear (and there’s a lot of great coats in the collection) is more of what we’ve come to expect from the French label – there’s some simple T-shirts, great shirts in a selection of long or short sleeves, fine Breton knits, smart suiting, great denim, some decent footwear and a couple of bag styles. Everything you’d want really.

To buy any of the above pop over to End Clothing’s website, where you can see the range here: A.P.C Spring/Summer 2012 collection.

A great collection, the camouflage jacket is probably the best variation of its kind around at the moment. Like you I’ve been becoming more & more interested with the brand again & their collection get better and better each season.

Interesting, I think they do some great staple pieces, last season they knocked out some lovely knitwear and the jackets this season look superb.

The only grumbles I have are that their sizing is on the big size and it’s a lot more expensive than it was a few years back.

Loving the simplicity and boundless style of this. The vintage parka leaps out as do the simple t shirts. Lovely stuff.

Agreed. Still nice gear but the price has gone through the roof!

APC looks good, but quality has gone down hill drastically in the last few years. For the price, there are a lot better brands out there.

I actually think the quality has got better recently. But I agree that it did go downhill for a while. The bits I’ve bought this year have been really good, but again the price is a bit of a sticking point, it’s pretty much doubled from what it was a few years back.
