Book Club Autumn/Winter 2011 collection
Another of the brands that I saw on my Australian jaunt last year was Book Club. I would have featured them sooner but I came back with a head full of so much stuff I basically forgot. Anyway, the guys have just released their Autumn/Winter 2011 collection (Southern Hemisphere) and with it some collection imagery. So better late than never I guess…
This Sydney based Menswear label was started back in 2009 by friends Simon Gibson and Serge Bodulovic. Only three seasons old now, the lads say the brand is all about “simple design and careful attention to detail” with everything being both designed and produced in Australia.
The images themselves are really nice and they’re also well shot so you know what you’re getting in terms of the actual product. From these shots the collection looks to be small and concise, consisting of a couple of shirts and two windcheaters. I don’t know if the chinos and denim are part of the collection but I’ve dropped them a line to find out so more information when I’ve got it!
